Wintry Loch Carron

We took advantage of a wee break in the weather on our way to Plockton to stop at the viewpoint at the top of the brae outside Strome Ferry (no ferry!) It had been an interesting journey with blizzard conditions at Achnasheen and icy roads. Later on we met the school bus on the Achmore road at the worst point possible which meant a reverse back for Colin who was driving for about half a mile! Suffice to say we were pleased to arrive safely! A fine relaxing weekend looms!
