Slipping away

Yep, the time before Christmas is certainly slipping away, but this morning I managed to get my parcels posted - hooray - after which I went to watch the skaters.  For the past 11 years a festive feature of Winchester has been the increasingly poshed-up ice rink at the centre of the Christmas market.  The day was beautiful but incredibly cold.  Funnily enough I was happy to linger by the ice though - it felt warmer than the rest of the market!

In Extras is another, less welcome, Winchester festive feature - the queue in the Post Office - not, as it happens, as long as I'd expected, but sooo sloooooow!
