Striking
There is not much time to look for blips at the moment as I am trying to catch up with work so apologies for another clock blip. The blur is the photo is the rapidly rotating 'fly' which is a leaf of metal that spins around fast when the clock is striking and acts as a governor, thus preventing the clock from striking too fast. I returned to the Bridge cafe in the morning where we were quite busy, then went into Citizens Advice to do some more practice on the computer system that I will have to use as from Monday. I then spent a couple of hours in the shop putting mechanisms back into clock cases and collecting more clocks to work on.
