Image Stabilisation

The best innovation in photography after digital for the likes of me is Image Stabilisation (IS) in the lens. It gives me the chance when forgetting to take a photo for blip to nip down to the beach and take something hand-held at 1/5 of a second. OK it is grainy but even at faster speeds in the Shetland wind it has proved very good for someone with shakey hands.
