David Shrigley

A visit to Manchester for the day to see 'Holy Motors' at the Corner House (one my favourite cinemas), a film that came highly recommended.
I can honestly say it's one of the best films I've seen in ages, totally crazy, fantastic art direction, super brilliant performances and totally original.
I'm not sure what it's all about but I have no problem with that.
Most films don't allow for what I call the third person something you always get with a good book, this film does, go see it.
There's also a terrific exhibition of the work of David Shrigley an artist I'm a big fan of.
A few beers then round to my friend Alex's for something to eat.
All in all a very satisfactory day.
