A Christmas .....

...... Robin!
This lovely little plant set in a " Robin pot", was given to me last night by a friend who came in for a cuppa. Sadly I was fasting so it was a frugal snack she had. However that didn't make any difference to our chat etc.
News of my sister in law going to hospital as an emergency this morning was of concern but all ended well she was discharged home after checks and altering her meds. I was in and out of hospital ( after having my blood test done ) in 10 minutes , such brilliant attention well done Purley Hospital . "A" and I went on a circular tour to deliver a couple of Christmas gifts this afternoon . I also had sad news this evening When my daughter rang and said her friend's husband died last evening, he was very ill but had been known to the family for 26 years so we all share his wife's grieve in some way. RIP Dave and love to the family.
My hip is certainly much better but I'm still very aware that I have to take care and move slowly.

Thankful ..... for some relief today.
