THE SEVEN CYGNETS

I found coming round the corner, then swimming through the little canal in their usual row and eventually in the wider water they looked for food on the bottom.
I cycled towards a store and catch an ordered item and was in a way surprised to see them. Changing my macro lens and walking fast to keep pace with them. They swim at a good pace, not looking left or right, they know where they are heading for.
A lovely sunny day, a bit cold but some day to remember!

My haiku:

In the dark canal
Their white bodies float and I
Hear the soft hissing

And the proverb by T. Moore from the book:

Who point, like finger-posts, the way
They never go.
