Another theological college fail

Why isn't there a practical course at college helping vicars to be able to quickly knock up signs or dress a church to inspire a person's imagination?
Dont be fooled by this series of signs.

I used heavy duty staple nails to attach the laminated A3 signs to the 60cm stakes. They looked great! BUT everyone fell off as I banged in the stakes. All of them.

I had nails in the car, so I renailed them on - extra firmly. 5 stakes went in well, but the 6th snapped in half at a previously undetected knot.
Still, I was pleased with the result.
I then drove past another of my 3 churches - of the 6 signs, one was still in place!!

Argh! God help me, because college didn't!
