Slow Progress

Often yields the best results.

Oxalis versicolor, last seen on 5 December, a second bud has joined the first and unfurled when brought into the warm for a little while.  In a cold winter there will be a succession of flowers for months.

My cold continues in full force.  Poor timing as my only lecture booking for this month was this morning.  Dosed with painkillers and decongestant I managed to entertain and inform a couple of dozen folk in Aylsham, a group called 'Inspired Gardeners.'  I must have inspired them a little as they bought lots of my photo-cards afterwards :-)

Finished the Christmas cards and a library book before having a snooze this afternoon.
