Wonder
If you look carefully you can just about see Sarah waving.
We went to see Wonder. I hadn’t realised that the new Star Wars film was out today - Sarah couldn’t be diverted so we stuck to the plan. Until the ads started we were all alone, and then a woman turned up and actually sat in the seat right beside us. No law against it I suppose but why?! Anyway, eventually quite a few folk turned up, sensibly avoiding the 40 minutes of adverts I guess.....
The man who made my coffee beforehand told me to take plenty of tissues. My goodness he was right - I cried for the whole time and then to top it all (spoiler alert!!!! ) the bloody dog in the film went and died. I am dehydrated from crying.
David arrived back safely and has today been to Grimsby on another stock count - Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Pontefract, he’s really seeing the sights. It’s his Christmas do tonight and he’s not impressed at having to be back in Grimsby again tomorrow at 8am. Reality bites.
