Found myself waiting for a late doctor's appt today so - as all true blippers would - I got in a few quick shots. Winchester is very lucky to be home to a fabulous glass engraver called Tracey Sheppard. This is a detail from one her pieces of work.

I first met Tracey years ago, she knew my cousin who was also a very expert glass engraver - in fact I think at times they used to bid against each other for the same commissions. Tracey usually has a mulled-wine-&-mince-pie open studio weekend before Christmas, but yesterday I had a letter saying that she won't be doing it this year - boo hoo (not that I can afford very much on sale there, let's be honest!)

Anyway, I singled out this word as being particularly suitable for blippers! Enjoy your Thurs evenings - and thank you Tracey x
