Rainbow Beach

We took a proper 4x4 across to Noosa North Shore today and drove part of the Great Beach Drive up through Coloured Sands, Red Canyon and on to Rainbow beach.  Loved every second of the day.  Saw so much!  Enjoyed a lovely picnic on Rainbow beach, watched fish, wadded (I can’t swim) into beautiful warm calm waters, walked and enjoyed everything and then on the way back broke down!  I didn't break down I hasten to add....the car did...but no dramas really, we got the old girl going again...the car, not me!!

Back at the house we have rented, and Chris has just surprised me!!  I thought I was heading to Sydney tomorrow as Chris had meetings there next week....well, apparently not....he has decided all is his own that we need a proper holiday.  I’m not sure what proper holiday means as he did add in a statement of ‘proper as proper can be when we own your own business and work still needs keeping an eye!’  Good job I know exactly what he means!!Sometimes its good to be self-employed – this is one of those moments! (we have agreed to four hours max a day on work between now and next Thursday)  I am sorry though to Beckett who was probably expecting to see us in the Blue Mountains – Sorry!

So we now stay here in beautiful Noosa until next Wednesday and then we fly to Fiji for Christmas.  In two weeks we will be back in Blighty and I am looking forward to that too.
