Mrs Mallard.

What change in the weather this morning, I woke up to pouring rain! I went into Gala before lunch to get some Christmas shopping, hopefully this will be my last trip and I can get everything I now need in Melrose. As I drove by Gunknowe Loch on the way home, I noticed that the ice was now wet and there were some great reflections of the birds.

On my way to work, I popped back with the camera. I didn’t allow myself much time, but managed twenty shots or so. I think this one of the female mallard was the best.
