RE-GLUEING THE BRIDGE...

... when I'd removed it I cleaned  off all the old glue. Due to a poor contact + the constant tension of the strings it had started to curl.

Luckily, wood has a memory - I boiled the curled  bridge for ten minutes & it uncurled to its original form.

Success guaranteed!
