Slowly thawing

A busy day. I left lots of time to negotiate the compacted snow and ice on the side roads and get to my surgeon's appointment. He was pleased and said he could leave the x-ray until the 12 month point.

Later I went into Lichfield where all the pavements were treacherous. Even Waitrose car park was like a skating rink.

It thawed a bit in the afternoon so I went for a swim. Fabulous.

And I pulled over as I drove home to capture the evening light.
