Kermit
Kermit is our new foster pup. He's SO sweet and quiet. Almost house trained and knows the basics, sit, down and paw. He's timid at first and took about a day to warm up, but now fits right in...Chewy (Eagle) had his neuter Sx yesterday and is going to another foster for Saturdays adoption day at Persmart. He's a cute pup, but too much of a pup for us. Kermit's laid back, and learning to play...yes, learning to play. Strange, I thought that was just a natural thing to do. He will be going to adoption day too. Hope he gets an awesome family who will love him like he needs and wants. He's a great little guy. If he doesn't get adopted he will come back to me until he does. I wasn't going to foster anymore, but it's fun with the right dog. My girls tolerate him much better the Chewy, who was starting to enjoy harrassing my older girl. He would run all around her barking, jumping at her trying to grab her fur..not good at all and she let him know it, but he just wouldn't stop. Any foster that does that won't be staying with me. My girls come first. Anyway, my life has gotten busy literaly over night. I have my granddaughter this week, as well as a cold, school, school online, my family, including my own girls, clean my house, and try to fit in catching up with my ceramics work since I missed last Saturday due to this awful cold/sinus/asthma thing. Blech!! However, being busy was better then the alternative. I had so much time that I was sinking deeper into depression. Being busy helps take focus off self and put it on others needs. Oh, and the shelter hired me!! Very p/t time and min wage, but it's a start getting me out working again. Very hard on my back, but I like the job, not the cleaning kennels part...that's gross, but the helping all the dogs part!
Hope eveyone has a great day :)
