Its that time of year again when we get out the 'bible' and remind ourselves of the Xmas story!

How big a turkey,
How many roasties, parsnips, carrots and brussels,
The Xmas pudding that is always on offer but nobody eats,
When to putthe turkey in, what temperature, how long and when to turn it down!

The list is long but my dear mam wrote in this 'bible' and we are able to follow and record luke she did to ensure we have a successful Xmas dinner.

This will be my 5th Xmas dinner. I have every confidence with my faithful book and stories to remind of what to do.

And whilst I consult my 'bible' I'll spare a thought for those no longer with us in presence but always in spirit and also the real meaning of Christmas.
