Kelburn Castle

We went for a day trip to Kelburn Castle in Largs today with our friends J, A and baby L. It was a glorious day for a picnic and a wander around the grounds and the secret forest.

I don't think we will rush back to Kelburn though, it's a long way to go and not really enough to do to spend the whole day there. After we left the castle we went for a walk along by the seafront in Largs and watched the Millport ferry going back and forth.

We then walked through the town and stopped at a fab sweetie shop for a few treats to enjoy on the way home.

Kerr got dropped off at Gran and Grandpa's house this afternoon as he is having a sleepover there tonight with cousin Lucy. He was very excited when we left him there.
