Wedding of the year

We've only been to one this year!

Today we travelled down to not so sunny Saltash for my cousin's wedding reception. They got married last month in Cyprus so tonight was all about celebrating with the people who couldn't make the big day.

It was lovely to see them all again but for a happy occasion for a change. Three funerals and wedding, you could say.

As soon as we walked in Esther, Alice and James were straight on the dance floor with the other kids. It was lovely to see. One little boy took a shine to Esther and kept playing with her hair and found her a seat when they needed a breather from all the dancing.
We lost her at point and found her at the sweet station tucking into a big jar of haribo rings. Iris was passed around all night, happy as Larry. One woman held her for a good half hour, it wasn't till the following morning that I found out no one knew who she was!!

Lovely night but felt very old dancing with the kids at the start of the night when I would normally be at the bar, getting drunk in preparation for dancing much later on.
