no exceptions

a productive week: many accomplishments.

unfortunately my micro problem set has not been one of them. i think perhaps nothing is more demoralizing than a complete inability to solve a problem, especially if you know the general idea of how it should work but you can't get the math right, egh. when is this over, again?

the delivery mechanism for education is not what it should be here, from elementary all the way to university. i am lucky in that i learn very well the way schools are structured, but i'm baffled by so many practices we continue to cling to that just aren't working. this is probably not the best thing to be pondering right now.

i'm going to stop here before i go on some sort of rant.
