BOOM! BOOM!

It's Basil Brush (the Box In The Corner challenge today). Geddit?? (Because I may not get away from the computer today.)

Many, many years ago one of my sisters was in a cabaret review that played at the Edinburgh Festival (they weren't terribly successful, partly because they were competing for audiences with that year's Footlights Review which had Emma Thompson, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie et al), and afterwards they did a "National Tour". By the time they got to London they had a policy that if the cast (6) outnumbered the audience they'd cancel the performance and buy the audience a drink instead, but the night we went they did the gig (which was excellent) although the audience only comprised two of A's sisters and our husbands, and then we bought them a drink. The point of this story is that their keyboard player then left to work for Basil Brush and so my sister's career in showbiz came to an end.
