Christmas flowers

I was hoping the pohutakawa flowers would be more advanced but I think they are waiting until the big day. The red blooms mean Christmas down under. Compared to the temperatures for the last 3 weeks today was more wintry with a slight southerly breeze, overcast skies and very little sun.I even put a cardigan on this morning.
The wreck Janie Seddon is the most photographed item in our town but it is sadly falling apart and some killjoy will say it is too dangerous to be left there.
