Goodbye Betty

Today is a very sad day, as my friend from the walking group died last night.  I was walking with her on Monday, we had lunch together, then walked back to the cars, picking up pine cones as we went.  I can't believe that she is no longer with us.

I have known Betty for 22 years, we were always the tail end charlies, as we were both very slow walkers.  Most of my photos of the walking group have Betty in them.  I took this blip photo only a couple of weeks ago when we were walking to the Luggate Boulders.

Her funeral is on Tuesday at 10 a.m.  It is early as they are going to do a video link to her relations in Ireland.

Goodbye Betty, you sure will be missed.
