Seaweed

This is how the goémonier now works gathering seaweed for the production of soda, fertiliser, cosmetic, food and medicinal products. It used to be done by hand but now the boats are equipped with a skoubidou a long, rotating hook to gather up the seaweed which is then transferred onto lorries at the quayside.
