Panic

Big Fish got a new wheelchair seat yesterday that fits on the power base. He sat ok in it on way home from Wheelchair services, small whinge on way to school then full on distress on way home resulting in very poor breathing, very raised heartbeat, sweating and screaming. This went on for over an hour on the journey back and after taking him out and repositioning him a few times. As soon as we got home I rebuilt the original seat and put him back in that. You could see him visibly relax. He got distressed like this for years on and off but hadn’t been distressed at all since having the seat that he’s had for the last twoish years. Back to the drawing board for replacement seat. He really needs one with more support but will be difficult to get it right. Hopefully we’ll beable to have a relaxed holiday in what he is in now.
