The pub

This is the pub opposite us, looking so lovely and welcoming in the cold and snow. 

The boys were with the childminder for most of the day, they have been painting and baking with her today, and the eldest loves telling me everything that he has done there when we get in the car.  I had planned to go for a walk with the boys this afternoon with our friend in the village, but we met up and decided that it really was too cold and it would almost certainly end up with one of our children in tears because of the cold.  

We're off to London tomorrow, it's going to be a long day, but hopefully a good one.  Children's party, followed by a carol service - we're heading up early to help set up the party.
