Good to see Sue and other stalwarts in Bushy Park before sunrise. It had been a while, for me at least. On the way home I diverted to RHS Wisley and found these dangly bulb thingies just outside the plant centre. Positioning the lower one in front of the sun and cranking up the shutter speed produced quite a nice frosty light effect - well it pleased me anyway.

Checked on the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge board to see what progress my chum BJ was making on his boat, Wight Lightning, only to find the race had been delayed because of 40 mph winds. It's no cake walk, rowing the Atlantic.

Put Christmas lights up, tree up, all ready for early Christmas do this weekend since we're losing the kids on the day itself to various in-laws.
