Weather - Day 3

Being British I have a preoccupation with the weather and temperature. It is now the third day of this very cold spell.

Most of the snow has melted although there are a few white icy patches in the chicken field. All the water in the troughs was frozen solid but I managed to break some of the ice with a metal shovel and Hoppy and the ducks waited happily for a drink.

Just five or so miles from here, the main A20 road was awash with slush and unmelted snow, and the whole of Brands Hatch was completely white.

Apparently it is going to get warmer! There may be no more weather blips.
