Eye, Eye.
Spent ages taking photo after photo while feeding mum. Taking them from her bedside and through the window. Wished I'd pruned the tree a bit around the entrance to the flutter butter. The birds are really loving it now but it took them a while to get used to it.
As it is, it's now been dug into so deeply I don't think they feel safe venturing in too far so they are constantly checking back out making sure it's safe.
I liked this one as it was quite steady for once and caught the robin and the flutter butter.
Checked that the district nurses knew they were still meant to call to give mum her insulin tomorrow and the day after. They said they hadn't been notified. So I told them that the head nurse had phoned me on the day he'd been notified to ask me why we suddenly needed them to do it. The nurse then went to check, returned and said they had received the notification and would be out from tomorrow for two days.
People, including the district nurses have said for years it must be so stressful being a carer as if looking after mum was difficult. Little do they know mum is a doddle, it's everyone else who causes me the most stress.
