Traditions

A full, busy, delightful day, I caught up with my friend this morning, we met at the coffee shop, after a couple of glasses of orange and biscuits it was time to leave and collect the Grandies Ruby & Deklan from school, for me its the last pick up of the year, they finish school this Thursday for their long Summer break.
Deklan & Ruby each hung their own ornaments on the tree, they all have their own from their very first Christmas, each year they reach that bit higher up the tree, Koen and Jacob came up later with their Mum, Koen now reaches the top branch with no trouble at all, it doesn't seem that long ago all their ornaments were hanging on the lowest branches, but still its a lovely tradition they have all grown up with, long may it continue..
