Not Tiny Any More

Today is very special because my eldest, Simon, turned 40.  It has been a difficult year for him undergoing chemo but today he looked a picture of health.
He was 3 weeks early so I had to call in sick with childbirth as the reason.  The temp who stood in for me gave me this card from a child in my year 1 class.  He must have known something because at the time he wrote it my son had yet not been born.  The inscription was special then and still is.  The temp teacher has remained a lifelong friend and I enjoyed a lovely day with Simon.
