Starting to freeze!

The day started with a beautiful sunrise, followed by several hours of beautiful sunshine. I was sitting in our dining room, writing Christmas cards, with the sun pouring in the window, and listening to Christmas music - quite delightful. However, by lunchtime, the clouds had moved in, and I was cross with myself that I hadn’t got out for a walk earlier. Fortunately, a little later in the afternoon there was a bit of clearing, so I headed over to Sharon Woods for a walk around the lake. The shallower end of the lake is just beginning to freeze, and with the mackerel sky reflected in the water, I thought it made a nice image.
