Take My Hand

I forced myself out to the RGS lecture this evening, even though it would have been cosier to stay in the warm. What a whimp I am. So on my way I lingered to take another skating rink Blip. I love seeing people having innocent fun whizzing round. Or for a lot of them, edging round. This gallant chap was encouraging his friend and she was all smiles.

The lecture was about Istanbul and its history. A bit intellectual for me on a cold evening. And rather more history than geography. But well presented and entertaining. 

Oh, and I went out and bought some lights for my bike because its our Christmas lunch canal run tomorrow. But oooh errr - its going to be icy on the towpath.
