Back blip

Took the opportunity of a free Saturday afternoon to visit an amazing LEGO exhibition on display at Stirling Castle. Using scenes from the Scottish Highlands (the picture above represents Ruthven Barracks) a team from 'Brick to the Past' have used over 1 million LEGO bricks and over 2000 figures to represent events from the 1745 uprising. (See extra photo for another view of the display.)

According to one of the interpretation panels: "The team at Brick to the Past specialise in creating massive, historically accurate LEGO models. This representation was created as part of the Year of History, Heritage and Archeology. It is based on the historical events of the 'forty-five'".

Well worth a visit!
