There have been some decent pictures of kingfishers on Blipfoto down the years.

This one was quite good and here's another reasonable effort. Some of you might also remember this award-winning shot.

But I'm sure you'll agree I've raised the bar today. If you squint you can just about see it. 

My kingfisher did some fishing, too, but sadly the images of that are a bit soft* to share.
