Watching
Thank you for all the kindness shown to yesterday's Castlerigg Stone Circle, now sat high on the popular pages*, some lovely thoughtful comments too, you're a kind bunch.
I blipped a buzzard sitting in this tree on Jan 26th, I wonder if it's the same one?
I can accept there's a peace in watching the world go by, indeed it's a pastime I've enjoyed myself on occasion, but I suspect it's more enjoyable when you know you can fly. As the world turns white and the winter playing work season begins my social media streams are full of various friends various adventures. I'm pleased for them, but it's difficult too. Everyone except me it would seem knew that I'd be sitting out this winter.... Well I guess I did too, I just did my usual selective understanding thing :-/
So whilst I'm sat staring I've decided to relearn how to use the little tablet I bought but never ever use. Hopefully I can use it to write with whilst I'm out and about. I've no idea why, but they say everyone has one good story in them.
*for once there are some excellent pictures above me, and not a collection of pics with numbers scrawled across them. Can we please have a red balloon symbol and a separate celebration page? Sure if something is also great (I know a goodly many search out a special blip for special days) then it could be a fav too, but I think it would really let the site free up the popular page. #possiblygrumpyoldman
