A view to the West

It being a chilly morning we went mad and dragged the Wii and the Xbox out of the garage. For about half an hour there was energetic nonsense in front of the telly, mainly from Janet as she exhausted the possibilities of Zumba and Dance UK. Then the lethargy took hold again and we went for a walk. The low afternoon Sun was just about giving up as I took this shot towards North Nibley and the Westridge woods. 

We've decided to deal with the Yule and Christmas presents in a sensible manner and we aren't buying any for each other. Instead, we've just booked an early January excursion over to Munich to see Charlie and Rory. It's daft worrying about buying stuff we don't need when we have so much, and I'm sure we'll have more fun with the kids than we would with a new toaster.
