festive tree

Tomorrow, Sarah's all-too-short stay with us will come to an end, and since we won't see her over Christmas, we are putting up the tree today, having a special family meal and giving her her presents.

Sarah and Luke have made the Christmas dinner for several years running, so that it has become a bit of a tradition. They are in the kitchen now - Sarah is preparing the main course and Luke the dessert. They say that the meal has a labyrinth theme...watch this space (or rather my instagram!)

After this weekend's sleep out, I have been heartened to see a flurry of donations to Social Bite on my VirginGiving page, taking my total up to well over my £500 target, which is brilliant. Quite a few of these donations came from Blippers who I have never met. This is a really great community! I realised today that the 'm' is missing after my name and that I forgot to renew my membership, which is an oversight easily remedied.I shall do it RIGHT NOW!

Tomorrow I travel south for more festive fun :-)
