Greetings from ......

..... Germany.
This lovely card was on the door step when I got back from the GP's surgery today. This lovely couple my husband and I meet at an apartment just outside Malaga Spain in 1986 when we were on holiday. The apartment belonged to neighbours of ours and we holidayed there on many occasions.
Willi and Micha were staying at Willi's parents apartment , they are now happily married with a son . Whilst we were sitting by the pool suddenly This young man appeared and asked my husband to help him with his English, and the friendship began. We communicated by letter from then on and met in Spain several times. It was always on the agenda to visit them . We arranged to visit in 1991 but alas my husband died from a Brain cancer so he never got there. In April 1992 they insisted I visit , with encouragement from my girls I went. I had a wonderful time with a caring ,kind couple. It is with regret we haven't seen each other since then but communication still continues at Christmas time. They were shocked to here of all the tragedy in our families this year, so great to have their greetings .
The GP is baffled as to my constant low grade virus 's. I'm having a full blood test and specific one for detection of any further heart problems. If these are ok I will see him again in January '18 . So it's a case of waiting now.
It is really treacherous outside , the corner of my road is like a skating ring , so slushy if it freezes it will become very dangerous. I'm so cold , therefore it will be indoors doing what I can cope with today. These are the times I wish Roy was here.---
