Waiting

Yesterday these little snowmen were waiting for the snow which didn't really arrive here but certainly hit people further south. Grace and John encountered quite a bit on their journey home to the south west.

Today they are waiting for the tree to go up so that they can have their moment in the sun as it were. I bought them from the Fair Trade stall at church a couple of weeks ago. Just couldn't resist.

Spent the morning in Ilkley, first visiting our ex ex vicar's wife and then a bit of shopping. Sunny and quite scenic over the tops but the Cow and Calf rocks were in the shadow when we stopped to take in the view.

So the afternoon has been taken up with decorations. Nearly there!
