Proud to be ewe.

I never have had a great feeling of self worth, but there are times that I do feel appreciated and know I have done a good job. Such a time was today. I can't tell you exactly what occured, but I know I stood a little taller and a little prouder.

Of course I came home and two teenagers later, I was brought down to earth with a bang. They are great levellers and I do adore them, but I still have to live with the knowledge, I am always wrong and it's always my fault. The two rules of being the teenagers parents.
They are actually pretty fantastic kids, but don't tell them I said so, they have no problem with self appreciation.
