Three B's

Basic Bird Blip for today. A little finch in the tree. They aren't quite as many birds around at the moment. Or so it seems anyway. I suppose some of the youngsters have gone their own way by now.

Bill and I got our gas fireplace set up for the winter. Got out the spray stuff to make the inside black again. Cleaned the glass, etc. We turn off the pilot light in the summer so that is back on now and good to go when the evenings get dark, dank, damp, and dreary. That would be the four D's. Starting Friday, for about five days, that's what we will be getting.

But today, after the fog lifted, it was gorgeous! The sun was shining, the sky was really blue and it was quite warm when we went on our walk. We talked of many things. The future, our future, money, the damned banks, the fact that our house ( which we hoped would be an investment for us 15 years ago), is not exactly meeting up to our expectations and where do we go from here? Such a fun conversation! I hear living is cheap in Equador, but Bill will have none of that! LOL But, think of the blip opportunities there! Wow.
