Toweling Off

It's been a very rainy day. Well, a rainy week really, but it rained basically all day. Our evening walk left the dogs and I dripping. So out came the towel and Loki tried helping to dry Corra off :3 I am still always amazed at the difference between Loki and Corra's coats. Loki has lovely, soft, fine fur. He takes forever to dry off fully. Corra on the other hand has a really coarse (though relatively soft) outer coat, and she drips dry within minutes. It is pretty awesome. Same with mud/dirt - comes right off without much intervention. Matter of fact, if I wasn't bothered by some of the stinks she rolls in, I don't think she'd ever need a bath. She feels lovely, doesn't have a scent at all, and a little brushing takes care of her coat. Loki is a little more maintenance, and he gets stuff stuck in his fur pretty regularly. So yea, dog coats!

Mr. Badger is off with some friends tonight, so I am making some pot stickers and rice for dinner (since he isn't a big fan of pot stickers). Yum!
