A hard winter ahead..

At least that's what the old wives' tale says - and these old wives knew a thing or two so I reckon they must be right.
It's the first berries I've really noticed this autumn, this tree is beside Morrison's supermarket in Partick.
So the early cluster of berries means that after the wettest summer on record, we're going to have a hard winter. Something to look forward to. Maybe I should emigrate.
