Festival of Christmas Trees

Her favourite Christmas tree was the Easter Bunny tree (called "Shoulda gone to specsavers!")

Band this morning before we visited the Christmas trees- where we saw friends from church and enjoyed going round with them. We headed home and facetimed B. Katie had a mock piano exam. B said her pieces have come on loads. We are loving getting to speak to her each weekend. We then did her clarinet practice and it was about time to go set up the church Christmas party! Katie was delighted that this year her grandad and granny & aunt and uncle all came too! She ate her weight in food from the kids party table but refused to eat the pie and pea supper. For pudding time though, the grown ups table appealed! She came to me though with some bits left in her bowl and said "I'm quite sad. I really like all of this but if I eat any more I'll feel sick". She took the grown up decision and put the bowl in the bin. Then ten minutes later was sat with a bowl of orange segments!

When it was time for santa (who she knows about) she was wonderfully enthusiastic with just a moment of running to me to tell me who it actually was dressed up!
