At the birdfeeder

I watched the birds all morning at the homemade feeder which is still squirrel proof..it looks really junky but it works.  After a couple days of cold rain, the birds were ready for some food and they did not seem to care who was eating with them.    I think this cardinal and its mate live in the woods around the house as we always see them year round.  The little sparrows, wrens, titmouse, and one I am not sure of all were eating together.   The brown thrasher came by and scared them all off.  I was going to post him but these two won that contest.
