In the Bleak Midwinter...

It has been a very wintry day - plenty of snow early on, although it won't last long.  I was due to go to teach on of my private pupils so couldn't go straight out with the camera, but did venture out into the cold later in the day.  By then, the thaw had started and there wasn't quite as much snow around although walking along was still quite difficult.  I just walked up to the local farmyard as the roads had been treacherous in the morning so I didn't fancy going out in the car again. I enjoy spotting the unusual  and less traditional shapes in an environment so went for the minimalist approach in many cases.
