Chinese Lanterns

Last night we headed to Edinburgh Zoo in the crisp and freezing winter weather, to view the Chinese lanterns... Huge displays of dragons, Panda's lions, chimps, penguins and other beautiful animals and plants.  It was a spectacle and a delight,  but it was also dark and busy and Little un was hyper and excited and overstimulated and lightning quick all at the same time...  Fortunately it was me that got lost in the crowds rather than Little un, as  she was a daddy's girl last night and stuck close to Dave and mama Crumbly... 

So it was well worth a visit, a visual christmas treat,  but it was also a touch stressful as my eyes were more frequently on a little head wearing a foxy hat than the giant lanterns...
