Creative Day

Here in North Norfolk there has be NO snow! Not one flake. It has made up for it with rain, however, hardly stopping all day.

With lots of (nice) jobs planned I got the ironing done first. In the conservatory with the rain hammering on the roof. I listened to the Archers and then I played my new vinyl records. Jon and Henry were at archery as usual. As the rain didn't stop I was forced to go out and collect the bits for my Christmas wreath in the wet. There were no holly berries but as I have some lovely pink flowers on my spindle and catkins on my favourite tree, my corkscrew hazel. So some alternative bits this year. I enjoy doing these Christmas preparations although I'm not really that good at arranging it. It is good enough and the wreath is now on the door.

Jon gave the inside of the caravan a clean and after lunch we took it over to be stored in Cromer. We really need the space in the front and plan to declutter our trailer collection. The big trailer needs to be sold and the trailer tent too. A job for the new year.

At about 4 I at last started making my Christmas cards. I wanted to make enough for everyone at work. I don't want them all to be the same so have come up with 5 designs. Some haven't worked as well as others, but I don't think people will mind. Jon cooked dinner and I carried on card making. I've made a huge mess!! Just about finished and will tidy tomorrow.

I've just remembered that at some point today I also decorated my branch with the vintage baubles. I like doing that bit of Christmas too!

It must be time for bed now. A busy working week ahead.....
