The Eastern Beck Market
Perhaps a little more poetic in Swedish "Östanbäcks marknad".
This is the first year this market has been held and it seems to have been a huge success. It started at 3pm as darkness fell and continued until about 6 o'clock. The street is rather narrow and there were so many people it was hard to move along at the start but it thinned out after a couple of hours, when I took this picture.
The stall you see here is a local cheese producer and his special Christmas products seemed to be selling well. Anyone for saffron goats cheese?
Now and again small showers of snow passed over and the temperature was just below zero - perfect weather for a Christmas market.
